I know what it feels like to be stretched thin, living on autopilot, caught in the vicious loop of Groundhog Day. Between juggling a demanding corporate career, a family, and an endless to-do list, I felt like I never had enough time for me and my own personal goals. I was filling everyone elseās buckets, but mine was running on empty.Ā
For nearly two decades, I worked in a high-pressure corporate environment, leading operations, managing multiple projects, and optimizing processes to help the organization run efficiently. On paper, I was successfulāI had the career, the experience, and the expertise. But behind the scenes, I was overwhelmed, exhausted, and constantly putting myself last. I spent my days solving problems, managing expectations, and ensuring everything ran smoothly for everyone else. Meanwhile, my own needs were buried under deadlines, meetings, and the pressure to do it all.
I remember waking up one morning after I had just turned 40 and thinking, Is this it? Is this what my life is going to be like until I die? The same routine, over and over again? I had spent years helping leaders and teams streamline their work, yet my own life felt chaotic and unsustainable.
It took feeling completely stuck for me to realize that something had to change. I couldnāt keep operating like thisānot in my career, not in my home, and certainly not in my own mind. Thatās when I hired a life coach. The first thing she taught me was her time management strategy for getting things done personally and professionally while managing my mindset around it.
During that time, I took a hard look at where I was spending my time, the stories I was telling myself that were keeping me stuck, andāmost importantlyāwhere I was placing my energy. Once I started implementing her strategies, I immediately went from stressed and overwhelmed to confident and in control.
Through trial and error and a lot of self-discovery, I learned to reclaim my time, set boundaries, self-advocate, and prioritize my own well-beingāwith self-compassion, positive self-talk, and without guilt. I transformed my mindset, reworked my habits, and started applying the same strategic thinking I used in my corporate role to my personal life.
Now, I help busy working women like you do the same.
My mission is to empower women to stop living in survival mode and start thriving by carving out time for what matters most. I know what itās like to feel pulled in every direction, to carry the mental load, and to struggle with saying ānoāābecause Iāve been there. But I also know that change is possible.
